Pets are a very important part of the family, and as such they deserve to be remebered just as fondly too! Why not use photos to remember them by, in a timeless fashion?
My father has always told me that I have a way with animals, and over the years various people have echoed his remark. I was never one to really think anything of it, because when I was younger I always thought that if you loved animals, the only career that would let you work with them was being a veteranarian--which wouldn't work because I'd never be able to put a creature to sleep. After I started getting into photography, I realized that you didn't have to be a vet, but instead I could take portraits of pets instead. I've never found a more enjoyable way to work with animals, and I'm willing to take photographs of any of them (but if it's a reptile or arachnid, you will be the only one handling it) that you ask of me! |
